VIRTUAL THERAPY AND CONSULTATION SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN TEXAS 

Lotus & Lane Counseling, LLC offers virtual individual therapeutic services for children from ages 9-11. Due to the nature of virtual counseling, in person therapy is generally recommended for children under age 9.

Alessia utilizes a solution-focused approach when working with clients individually, meeting the client where they are in their own unique therapeutic journey. Consultation services are offered to parents, teachers, and fellow therapists. Sessions can range from stand alone sessions to on going. Topics appropriate for consultation services include but are not limited to school accommodations, school support plans, care coordination and home support plans.  

Parenting in today's world can feel overwhelming and daunting. Parent coaching and consultation sessions are offered virtually for parents and caregivers of children ages 2-11. Alessia tailors parent coaching to the individual parent and family, utilizing tenets from various schools of counseling and psychology including but not limited to Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Parent Management Training, Positive Discipline and more.

Next Step Guidance sessions include a full diagnostic intake and one follow up session in order to discuss recommendations for next steps. This service is a good option for families who are unsure what next steps to take in their child's developmental journey. 

Diagnostic intakes are conducted as the first sessions for all clients- one time and ongoing. Diagnostic intake sessions serve the purpose of gathering as much information as possible regarding the client's current concerns and challenges, past history and any other information that may be relevant in the therapeutic process. Diagnostic intake sessions can also be conducted as standalone sessions for information gathering purposes.
